This powerful day long experience often brings participants a sense of echo-location for their deeper lives: for the healing that is needed and for the soulful expression, work and paths that are calling to us.

We meet at 8am in a parking lot up near the end of skyliner road and take a select few vehicles further up the dirt roads, into a little brook lined valley nestled between two ridges in the woods.

There we will gather round a fire, in a circle and begin our ritual.  Honest talk, poems, wonderings, sometimes tears - being listened to, perhaps for the first time in a while, can do this.  Tea will be poured and smiles had.  we'll hope the day will bring sun warmth - but we'll take what comes.

After sharing some intention for our individual Story Walks - we'll break from the group and wander out where the land calls us.  Listening to birds, silences, trees, rocks, despair and longing as guides.  And We'll each pay attention to what comes.

We'll gather later in the afternoon to share the stories - or whatever parts of them are wanting to be told.
